Six things your buyers look for before they call.
Every one of these gets a clear place on your site, so a buyer can tick it off in a minute.
Gas and F-Gas credentials
Gas Safe registration with the right commercial categories, and F-Gas company certification for air conditioning and refrigeration work.
Trade bodies and H&S
BESA membership, CHAS, SafeContractor or Constructionline. Often a condition of getting on a tender list.
Planned maintenance
PPM contracts, often specified against SFG20. Show what a visit covers, how you report, and how you handle reactive call-outs.
Sectors and project size
Schools, healthcare, offices, industrial. Main contractors want to see work at the scale they’re tendering.
Case studies
Plant replacements, new installs and refurbishments, written up with the building, the problem and the result.
Coverage
The regions you cover and your response times for breakdowns. Both count for local search.
The pages we’d build for you.
A complete redesign covers the first five, rebuilt from your current site. A larger site adds a page for each service and town, which is how you show up when people search for exactly what you do.
//services/about/areas/contact/commercial-heating/air-conditioning/planned-maintenance/projectsWhat your customers type into Google
- commercial heating engineers [town]
- air conditioning installation [town]
- HVAC maintenance contract
- commercial boiler replacement [town]
- mechanical contractor [city]
Each of these deserves its own page. One “Services” page can’t rank for all of them.
We mostly win work through tenders. Do we need a website?
Yes, because buyers look you up before they shortlist. The site’s job is to make the shortlist easy: credentials, sectors, case studies and a capability statement to download.
Can you add our capability statement?
Yes. We link it as a download from the homepage and the About page, and can tidy the layout of the PDF itself for a small extra fee, quoted first.
Can you show manufacturer accreditations?
Yes, as text. Logos go on where you have the manufacturer’s permission, usually as part of an installer or partner scheme.
See your own homepage, redesigned.
