Six things your buyers look for before they call.
Every one of these gets a clear place on your site, so a buyer can tick it off in a minute.
Scheme registration
NICEIC, NAPIT or similar, with your registration number, near the top of the page. Landlords and homeowners look for it first.
Commercial or domestic
Say which clearly. A facilities manager looking for a commercial contractor leaves if the homepage is all rewires and kitchen spotlights.
Testing and inspection
Landlords in England need an EICR at least every five years, and they search for it by town. A dedicated page catches that work.
Health and safety credentials
CHAS, SafeContractor, Constructionline or similar. Main contractors often need these before adding you to their supplier list.
Areas and response
Which towns you cover, and how quickly you can attend a fault. Both help you show up in local searches.
Real jobs
Distribution boards, fit-outs and chargers you’ve actually installed. One honest photo beats ten stock images.
The pages we’d build for you.
A complete redesign covers the first five, rebuilt from your current site. A larger site adds a page for each service and town, which is how you show up when people search for exactly what you do.
//services/about/areas/contact/commercial-electrical/eicr-testing/ev-chargers/areas/leedsWhat your customers type into Google
- commercial electrician [town]
- EICR for landlords [town]
- EV charger installer [town]
- emergency lighting testing [town]
- electrical contractor near me
Each of these deserves its own page. One “Services” page can’t rank for all of them.
Can you show our NICEIC or NAPIT logo?
Yes, where your scheme’s rules allow. Most schemes give registered members approved logo artwork and usage rules. We use that artwork, follow the rules, and show your registration number beside it so buyers can check it.
We do domestic and commercial work. Should that be one site?
Usually, yes. We split the homepage into two clear routes so each kind of customer finds their side in one tap, and give each its own service pages.
Can people book an EICR online?
We add a quote form that asks the questions you need (property type, number of bedrooms or circuits, preferred dates). If you want online booking with payment, we link a proven booking tool rather than build one.
